“Mitzi” is a short film about a woman living with dementia who believes herself to be a famous actress living in a grand estate while her son struggles to connect with her through the veil of her fantasy.
I create hundreds of small forms resembling the plant myosotis sylvatica; know in its common name, the forget-me-not. Each paper form is sewed to canvas stretchers. The work is made on smaller panels intended to be viewed as one larger installation.
