Work Description
Christia Crocker is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker who started her career in entertainment as a modern dancer and musical theater performer. After gravitating to film and television production and working up the New York production ranks, she came to Los Angeles. She became an attorney while continuing to write and produce independent projects.
Christia most enjoys exploring characters with persistent spirits and resolve. Whether heartbroken or emboldened, hit hard by life or inspired to self-discovery, she loves digging into the stories of those who continue the quest to find their path and succeed in their mission, whether or not they ultimately triumph.
Christia’s recent experience includes writing television pilots, short film and music video production, and network legal positions at DreamWorks, Starz, Netflix, and Apple TV+.
On certain nights, she has also been known to spin fire.
