Who Knows Where or When

January 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

$30

The always engaging BROOKE SCHOOLEY shares songs and poignant stories about losing one’s bearings, inspired by having organized her parents’ care over the past decade. Standards and art songs get new interpretations when framed by a well-meaning daughter frantically trying to preserve her increasingly fragile parents’ independence from 700 miles away.

After leaving Wall Street (in a bit of a huff), Brooke has been singing professionally for 15 years, mostly in classical venues in the Northeast. She regularly performs leading coloratura roles with regional opera companies and has presented french-language cabaret at the old Metropolitan Room. She entertains her West Village neighbors at her frequent salons and also warbles for a seemingly appreciative flock of sheep in the Hudson Valley.
